Eligibility for B.Ed (B.Ed. Eligibility In English)

It depends on the college to decide the eligibility criteria for B.Ed course but there are some eligibility criteria that are common, such as-

Candidate must have completed his graduation from a recognized college.

The minimum age of the candidate should be 21 years.
The maximum age of the candidate should be 35 years.
In some private colleges, a relaxation of 5 years is also given in the maximum age limit.

How to do B.Ed Course?

If you are determined that you want to pursue B.Ed course, you must first fulfill the above-mentioned eligibility criteria and choose a discipline from which you want to pursue B.Ed. If you want to do B.Ed from any government college, you have to first apply and clear the entrance exam. After this, you will be given admission on the basis of merit. All the states conduct the B.Ed entrance exam at their own level. Apart from this, there are many private colleges that give direct admission in B.Ed courses only on the basis of your graduation marks without taking entrance exam.

B.Ed. Course Fees

If you want to take admission in B.Ed course in any government institute or college, then you have to score good marks in graduation and pass B.Ed Entrance Exam. On the other hand, if you want to study B.Ed from a private college, then you will have to spend a considerable amount because the fees for B.Ed in private colleges are higher than in government colleges. We advise you to first give an entrance test for admission in B.Ed course in government recognized university because fees are less in government colleges which will save your money. Ed fees in private colleges can range from fifty thousand to one lakh rupees. Ed fees can be per year as well as per semester. It depends on different states, colleges, and universities.

B.Ed Course Duration

The total duration of B.Ed course is two years. It is a professional degree course that can be done at any of the respective colleges. In these two years, you learn and understand the qualities of teaching closely. The B.Ed course has both theory and practical classes.
